About
New Life Church Battersea is a new Bible teaching church in central Battersea seeking to share the love, hope and new life that Jesus gives to all who turn to him. Situated between two large estates we see our role as serving the local community and sharing God’s love through words and actions.
Come and Join our Sunday Service
We meet every Sunday at 11am to sing, worship, pray and study God’s word. After the service we have teas and coffees and the first Sunday of the month we host a community meal. Whoever you are, whatever your background, we’d love to have you with us.
Our Activities
We don’t just meet on a Sunday. Building off a 100 year legacy, our church hosts a wide range of activities midweek to support people of every age and stage, helping to fight everything from debt problems, to loneliness right through to hunger or gang culture.
Struggling with life, debt or benefits?
Jesus says “in this life you will have troubles” but he doesn’t stop there, he continues “but take heart for I have overcome the world”.
In the same way that Jesus came to earth to get alongside broken humans like us, our Church hopes to get alongside individuals in our community who need a little extra help.
A number of years ago our church set up- Grace Advocacy. This project is designed to help individuals who are struggling with debt, benefits or any other overwhelming paper work.

New Life Church is new but its values and vision are building off an incredible Christian history on the same site dating back hundreds of years.

New to the faith
If you are new to the Christian faith and don’t have a church to call home, why not swing by and say hello. Our church is far from perfect but we do worship a perfect saviour and we try our best to stick close to him. Our hope is that as we do the New Life he offers, like living water, will not just fill us up, but will flow out from our church and flood the whole area with the love, grace and mercy of God.
